Event Description
First established over 80 years ago, the Apex Fire Department has a long-standing legacy of fire service in the community. Join members of the department and retired volunteer firefighters at Fire Station 1 in downtown Apex from 2 – 4 pm to celebrate that legacy! The event features station tours, displays of retired equipment and gear, photo opportunities with an in-service Fire Engine and the 1940 Hunter fire truck, information booths, and a historic documentary showcasing members of the volunteer fire department.
