NC Nature + Nurture is a half-day forest school for children ages 3-8 years old. Our mission is pretty simple. We aim to guide children in building a long-term and meaningful connection with nature and create future stewards of our planet. We use child-centered, self-guided learning, to support the journey into self-discovery, and champion confidence, resilience, and a lifelong passion for nature.

Each day is unique and filled with child-guided exploration of our natural world. We spend our days outside, in all seasons, becoming immersed in the natural world all around us. We take daily guided walks into the forest, eat our lunch outside, and spend our days exploring, navigating nature, observing wildlife, and connecting.
