We were all fired up 🔥 on May 21st at Original Grills in Durham!
It was a privilege to have professional chef, Patrick Hunter with Kamado Joe cook for us on the charcoal Masterbuilt grill. We had salmon, scallops, shrimp, sausage, and tomahawk & flank steak seasoned to perfection, creating an olfactory delight! Needless to say, mouths were watering.
It was delightful to catch up with neighbors and try tasty grilling samples.
This event is also featured in the July issue of five local neighborhood magazines, Greet Friendship of Apex, Stroll Hope Valley of Durham, Stroll Preston of Cary, Stroll the Oaks of Chapel Hill and Stroll Governors Club & Communities.
Sweet treats and savory oeuvres were provided by Stephanie Marhunas of My Croft Kitchen and Leslie Chartier of The Traveling Café.
Guests cooled down in the showroom while enjoying nutrient-dense refreshments made available by Kyrone Nebolisa of Kwench Juice.
The showroom, affectionately referred to as “The Badass Grill Store,” beautifully displays not only various high-performance grills, but also smokers, rubs, sauces, pizza ovens, cutlery and more. They even offer outdoor living design elements to enhance your patio into the ultimate outdoor kitchen. There is something for everyone who enjoys the outdoor cooking experience!
Thanks again to Original Grills for hosting. The owners, Paul and Pete Kindem, and the rest of the team did a grate job! The entire OG crew are proud North Carolinians, fond of the ‘Triangle’ area and take pleasure in serving the local communities.
For those interested, go check them out. Perhaps, you might meet the grill of your dreams!
We know, the perfect way to celebrate the Fourth of July with a bang 💥 is a backyard barbeque accompanied by family and friends!
Catch you on the flip slide.
